Save Your Photos Day 2015: Volunteers

We are excited to introduce Julie Berry as the Save Your Photos Day Chairperson for 2015. Julie will be overseeing the 5 committees we have created to ensure SYPD 2015 is a great success. Besides planning your own event, please check out the various volunteer opportunities and consider sharing your expertise with us. Our goal is to create a resource that makes planning and holding an event effortless!

About Julie

Julie grew up in Naples, Florida and now calls Nashville home. Mother to three wonderful teenage girls and proud wife to her high school sweetheart, she is the self-appointed family historian and archivist. Julie has always loved photographs and appreciates the important role they play in preserving and telling our stories. Her work as a personal assistant in Nashville over the past ten years, has help her discover and develop her talent for helping others bring order and design to their personal and professional lives. She shares her passion for photography, organization and technology with her clients through her photo organizing business, Berry Organized.

We have formed the following committees to help reach our goals. Please consider your talents and your area of expertise and contact Julie with your level of interest. We are looking for Committee leads in each of the following categories, as well as committee members.

Fund Raising Committee:
Our goal is to raise $30,000 of which all funds will go towards marketing and promotion to help increase national awareness and build attendance at events. Do you have fund raising experience and/or experience working with crowd sourcing programs like Gofundme?

Social Media Committee:
We're looking for a confident social media team who can post, tweet and blog in the months and weeks leading up to the event. Blog contributors can volunteer for one or many posts, based on their previous SYPD experiences or client interactions. This team will work directly with Coach Jenn Lee and the Work Creative Group during promotional months.

Retail Committee:

Are you a Retailer or a member who works closely with local Retailers? We're looking for individuals who can create a strategy for reaching out to local retailers with support for their specific needs.

Administration and Marketing Committee:

Calling all designers, technology geeks and communicators! We're looking for your unique skills to help create visual material for our event kits, power point presentations, press releases and other support material. Are you familiar with Weebly to help administer Can you create and distribute regular newsletters to keep Alliance members informed? We need many skilled hands for this committee.

Association Liaison:
Are you a connector? We're looking for an individual who can serve as a liaison for APPO members and our sister Associations NAPO and APH to help share and communicate our mission and purpose.
