APPO Membership Terms

Membership in the Association of Personal Photo Organizers is annual and runs from the date when a member joins through a term of one year. Membership automatically renews for successive annual terms unless either party provides 30 days’ prior written notice. The same applies to members who choose quarterly payment options. A member who chooses the quarterly payment plan agrees to a quarterly payment schedule for the full year upon membership, or upon renewal.

Our renewal process is automated for your convenience, and recurs until canceled.

Renewal fees are automatically deducted from the member’s payment account. Failure to pay renewal fees in a timely manner results in termination of membership and all member benefits, including access to and use of all APPO materials and the APPO member website. APPO account access and the member website will become inactive until membership fees are paid in full.

No fees paid are refundable for any reason whatsoever.  

APPO reserves the right to change fees, member types, member benefits, and terms of service.

 

APPO Member Benefits

  • Personalized Web Page: Personalize your content on the www.appo.org website to reflect your services.
  • APPO Tote: Free APPO-branded messenger-style tote bag.
  • APPO Certification Programs: All APPO members are encouraged to gain credibility and recognition through APPO training and certification programs — available only to APPO members ($100 fee). Certified members receive premium ranking on www.appo.org and are eligible for lead referrals.
  • Monthly Training Webinars: Free monthly training webinars/teleconferences to develop your photo organizing skills and services.
  • Resource Center: Access to materials shared by other photo organizers, including documents, checklists, presentations, forms, samples, tips on how to get started, and other marketing materials. Items are available to download, and new materials are added frequently.
  • Member Newsletter: Sharing what’s new in the photo organizing industry, as well as success tips from other Personal Photo Organizers.
  • APPO Logos: License to use the APPO member logos on business and marketing materials.
  • APPO-Branded Business Cards and brochures: A free starter pack (25 each) of generic APPO-branded business cards and brochures. Customized options are available in the resource center.
  • Preferred Providers: Access to discounted products and services from a growing list of vendors who offer members-only discounts through APPO.
  • APPO Members-Only Facebook Page: Post questions and network with other Personal Photo Organizers across the country and throughout our international community.
