Appo Membership Terms

Membership is annual and runs from the date when a member joins through a term of one year. Membership automatically renews for successive annual terms unless either party provides 30 days’ prior written notice.

Renewal fees are automatically deducted from the member’s payment account. Failure to pay renewal fees in a timely manner results in termination of membership and all member benefits, including access to and use of all Appo materials and the Appo member website. Appo account access and the member website will be inactivated until membership fees are paid in full.

No fees paid are refundable for any reason whatsoever.  

Appo reserves the right to change fees, member types, member benefits, and terms of service.

Member benefits vary according to membership type: Individual, Retail, and Staff membership.

Individual memberships are for private, individual photo organizers. Retail memberships are for those members who have a retail establishment associated with their business. Staff memberships are for staff members or employees of Individual or Retail members.

 

Individual Member Benefits ($349 annual):

  • Personalized Web Page: On the www.appo.org website. Personalize your content to reflect your services.
  • Appo Tote: Free Appo-branded messenger-style tote bag.
  • Linea LineBox Subscription: One-year subscription to Linea photo sharing application.
  • Linea Distribution Rights: Appo members have exclusive rights to sell Linea.
  • Linea Sales Commission: 30% commission on Linea LineBox subscriptions and wholesale pricing on all Linea products.
  • Sample Photo Albums: Samples of Linea’s photo books to show your customers (available in spring 2012).
  • Appo Certification Programs: All Appo members are encouraged to gain credibility and recognition through Appo training and certification programs — available only to Appo members ($100 fee). Certified members receive premium ranking on www.appo.org and are eligible for lead referrals.
  • Monthly Training Webinars: Free monthly training webinars/teleconferences to develop your photo organizing skills and services.
  • Resource Center: Access to materials shared by other photo organizers, including documents, checklists, presentations, forms, samples, tips on how to get started, and other marketing materials. Items are available to download, and new materials are added frequently.
  • Member Newsletter: Sharing what’s new and success tips from other Personal Photo Organizers.
  • Appo Logos: License to use the Appo member logos on business and marketing materials.
  • Appo-Branded Business Cards: A free starter pack (25) of Appo-branded business cards and the ability to purchase customized business cards.
  • Preferred Providers: Access to discounted products and services from a growing list of vendors who offer members-only discounts through Appo.
  • Appo Members-Only Facebook Page: Post questions and network with other Personal Photo Organizers across the country and throughout our international community.

 

Retail Member Benefits ($500 annual):

  • Personalized Web Page: On the www.appo.org website. Personalize your content to reflect your services. Retail members who own multiple stores may have up to three additional Web pages. Retail members with more than four stores must contact Appo for pricing and benefits.
  • Linea LineBox Subscription: One-year subscription to Linea photo sharing application.
  • Linea Distribution Rights: Appo members have exclusive rights to sell Linea.
  • Linea Sales Commission: 30% commission on Linea LineBox subscriptions and wholesale pricing on all Linea products.

Staff Membership Benefits ($199 annual):

Appo members can add a Staff membership to their company profile. Staff members are featured on the primary member’s Web page and have their own login to the Appo website with access to all training materials and resources. Staff memberships are transferrable for the duration of the membership.

  • Personalized Web Listing: Listing on the Retail/Premier member’s website on www.appo.org. Personalize your content to reflect your services.
  • Appo Tote: Free Appo-branded messenger-style tote bag.
