Biography
Philip: I have always taken photos and loved to tell stories. But when we adopted our first son, I wanted to tell his story in a way that he would have, and be able to pass on. That’s when I started getting my own photos organized and put into albums. My boys still pull out their photo books and show them off to friends, family and visitors. Seeing the impact that telling their story with words and pictures had on them has convinced me that everyone needs this.
With the advent of digital photography, how we process and share our photos and stories has changed. People take far more photos now and do much less with them! There were 30 Billion photos taken last year! People are overwhelmed and need help dealing with all their photos spread across camera cards, cell phones, computers, and don’t forget the boxes and bags of printed photos! I started PSG Photo Solutions to help people get their photos organized and tell their stories. It’s a great feeling to hand your child their book and watch the smile grow from ear to ear.
My wife and I bring over 20 years of design and layout experience to the telling of your stories. Our varied backgrounds in dance, music, theatre, insurance, education, non-profit work, and adoption gives us a breadth of experience to draw from. Helping you get organized is the first step in telling your story.
Susan: I am cellist and play with the Lexington Symphony. I have also worked in arts administration. For the last 15 years I have done graphics and layout work for several arts organizations. Many have said I bring a keen eye to the design and layout of the books we have done for clients. Our attention to detail brings a clarity to the finished work that invites you to enter into the story being told. We would love to help you tell your story, and that of your loved ones as well.
