Read through these common questions from new and experienced Appo members alike. We will constantly update these as questions come in, so check back often for new information.

Membership Questions

Q:
How do I access the certification training materials to become Appo Certified?

A:
When you log in, there will be a box in the right hand column with a link that says "get certified". Click that link, and under "Ready to get certified?" click "purchase". Fill in and submit your information, and once your certification order has been completed, you can access the training materials and tests.
*Please note: If you profile has not been "approved" by Appo yet, you will not be able to access the Appo Member's Certification Training Materials and tests.
Q:
What will my membership cost after the ﬁrst year?

A:
Appo Members will pay an annual fee of $295.00 or a quarterly fee of $85. Your initial membership fee included a one time $50 administrative fee.

Q:
How do I change my URL address?

A:

Username: Lisa Kurtz (case and space sensitive)
URL: www.appo.org/my/Lisa-Kurtz (dash goes in place of spaces)

To change your URL, log into your account and edit your account's username. The username field is what creates your personal url address. Go to your "edit user" tab, enter your new username and scroll down to the bottom of the page and SAVE.
We recommend that you use your first and last name for your URL and username. If you have a company name there is still a field on your profile to list that publicly and it is listed in a search field in our directory.

Take special note that your username appears in 3 locations on Appo.org.
1.) Your username is used to log into your Appo.org account. If this is changed, your log in information is changed also.
2.) Your username shows up as your page header for the public to see on Appo.org. You business name if you have one, is listed there as well.
3.) Your username is part of your personal URL address (www.appo.org/my/username).

Certification Questions

Q:
I’d love to get certified but I’m afraid I won’t have the time or the credentials. I belong to another organization where the certification process is a huge and expensive undertaking. How complicated is it to receive certification through Appo?

A:
One of our goals at Appo is to provide you with the training and support you need to be successful in your business. Therefore, we have specifically designed our certification program to be accessible and affordable to everyone. The training manuals and certification tests are avaliable online so that you can complete them as your schedule allows. We want to you become certified, so your clients can be conﬁdent in you and in us!
